| Kit Etudiant Erasmus | Kit Etudiant Erasmus | pdf | doc |
application |Contrat étudiant learning agreement | Contrat d'études transcript of records | Relévé de notes | (you may use a "scan" of the official document provided by your institution) |
The official application forms are available from your institution or Europa official website
All forms must be sent by your institution
(international office or administration), or by yourself, provided that
your electronic message is addressed to your international office in cc.
You are advised to add a curriculum-vitae (résumé)
and a letter of motivation, especially for a lab project application. Do
not forget to indicate (with your e-mail):
-
the date of your arrival; be aware of ENSEIRB
calendar! / New ENSEIRB calendar
-
the duration of your stay;
-
the ENSEIRB department relevant of your application
(electronics | computer science | telecoms).
Preparing your learning
agreement
You should prepare your learning agreement with the help of your local
tutor, and that of ENSEIRB relevant
department
coordinator.
There are simple rules to follow to make sure that your learning
agreement is compatible with ENSEIRB calendar and course timetable: if
you do not follow them,
your agreement will be invalid, and ENSEIRB will not sign it. Please carefully read the explanations below!
There are two semesters in a year, fall-winter semester, and spring-summer
semester, and:
-
odd semesters S1, S3, S5, where S stands for E[lectronics],
I[nformatics],
T[elecoms]
correspond to the fall-winter semester;
-
even semesters S2, S4, S6, correspond to spring-summer;
-
S6 is the final project semester for ENSEIRB students: no courses are taught;
note
that if you come to ENSEIRB to do a Lab project, this can be anytime (from
September 1 to June 30, or sometimes mid-July, depending on your project supervisor).
If you wish to attend classes, please plan
to come for a whole semester, or a whole year.
Make it simple!
-
You cannot just randomly select modules from our course
catalogue and hope they will be compatible (in terms of schedule):
the schedule is not available in advance!
-
Select items from one level only:
-
level (or year) 1 semesters: S1, S2;
-
level (or year) 2 semesters: S3, S4;
-
level (or year) 3 semesters: S5 (no courses during S6);
-
For semesters S1, S2, S3, S4: select items from one
department only (E, I or T);
-
For semester S5, there is a fourth department called Common and denoted
by C:
-
each department from E, I, T, C has 2 or more options;
-
select items from one department, and one option
only;
If you mix items from different departments
(or options for S5), or different levels, there will be requirement
and/or scheduling problems, and your learning agreement will be much more difficult, even impossible, to set up!
Make
it efficient by providing hyperlinks to our catalogue
In your learning agreement (except for a lab project), include
codes selected from our
course
catalogue, and do not hesitate to supply hyperlinks to http references
to a whole semester you will attend, e.g.,
I2 (Informatics Semester 2), or a list of UVs such as
I2B, if you plan to attend only a subset of the semester. You may also want to select one or more modules from a UV,
PG106
for instance, if you are not interested in the other courses. Be aware
of prerequisite requirements (especially if you select modules or
UVs, instead of a whole semester).
Please keep in mind that you cannot just randomly select a list of modules (see Make it simple!): we strongly advise you to select a whole semester (or whole year) in a specific department.
You can also use such hyperlinks in
subsequent e-mail discussions. It may be better to include full http
references in your mail, as not all mailers
understand the above hyperlinks, but most mailer automatically turn
strings
of text such as
http://www.enseirb.fr/syllabus/index.php?&departement=I&option=2 (for I2 semester)
into hyperlinks such as
http://www.enseirb.fr/syllabus/index.php?&departement=I&option=2 to I2 semester.
Such hyperlinks will facilitate e-mail discussions with ENSEIRB department coordinator, before you arrive.
